Post Moving

Yay for finally having internet back. I can start getting back into this blog. But let's start with a recap

Amongst the chaos of physical moving, the weather turned to down-pour. Of course irony made sure the sky was clear during our wait and made the heaviest pour while the truck got loaded and unloaded. Which was why the truck that was booked for between 8 and 10 finally arrived at 1:30pm. Before Mr. M and I bit each other's heads off from frustration. In the meantime I was able to get breakfast, the new house keys, pack my car and his twice with small stuff, and experience a lot of agitation. It's rather amazing how abusive we get, or rather interpret their need to be shown affection, as abuse. As time passed, I poked him more or fidgeted around with things (physical touch), and the more sarcastic put-downs he came out with (verbal affirmation), And in the last hour he sat in the garage while I listened to the radio in the car, while we both sulked on Facebook.

Murphy's Law proved useful once again, as the truck came while I was in the toilet.

It's amazing the skill in Tetris the removalists have, as well as the physical strength to be able to lift large items so often, without bumping into obstacles along the way. There were few smaller, odd-shaped items (like mower) that almost didn't fit, but they managed. WOW!

And as irony goes, the rain settled once the truck left.

We've settled nicely by now. There's only the linen box that's yet to be opened. If we even use the contents inside it...

Love, light, be awesome.
